Aspire2STEAM is a 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated to helping young women and girls break through barriers and complete STEAM-related training, certification, and college. The organization provides mentorship and educational scholarships to young underserved women pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. Multiple scholarships in three categories are given throughout the year.
* Aspire2STEAM’s EXPLORER Scholarship for Training
Applicants must be female and be planning to register or have already registered for a summer, afterschool, or special training program focused on a science-, technology-, engineering-, arts-, or mathematics-related topic. Leadership-related training will also be considered.
* Aspire2STEAM’s ACHIEVER Scholarship for Certification
Applicants must be incoming or currently enrolled female students in a US school, pursuing a science-, technology-, engineering-, arts-, or mathematics-related certification. Scholarship awards are to be used to help pay for certification-related tuition, materials, and fees.
* Aspire2STEAM’s ASPIRER Scholarship for College Education
Applicants must be incoming freshmen or currently enrolled female students in a US school, pursuing an associate, bachelors, masters, or doctorate degree in science, technology, engineering, arts, or mathematics.
All young women or girls interested in pursuing STEAM-related careers and in need of assistance to pay for their training, certification, or college education are welcome to apply for scholarships. Selection is based on passion for STEAM fields of study, positive character, commitment to using talents to be of service to others and leadership ability (of self and/or others). Applicants with limited access to funds to pay for their education will receive special consideration.
