May 1 is National Space Day, and with the recent Artemis II Moon mission and the seemingly endless stream of new discoveries being made in outer space, the Space Foundation has produced The Moon Briefing Book to connect and inspire readers of every background to the most ambitious human space exploration in more than 25 years.
The journey of the Artemis II crew of four was fueled by the talents of thousands of men and women from the United States and its partners around the world. Engineers, machinists, scientists, researchers, welders, policymakers, programmers, astronomers, mechanics, and more brought their expertise together to write this new chapter in humanity’s exploration of our Universe. Their collective work for exploration is creating a new story where knowledge, inspiration, opportunity, and courage will yield even more benefits for life on Earth. And it’s only just begun!
The Space Foundation offers this briefing book to modern lunar activities as a free download in the hope that it will inspire the next generation of space explorers.
