Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming how we live, learn, and work—but most learners still don’t understand how AI works, what it can and can’t do, or how to use it responsibly and creatively. Without action, the same students who have historically lacked access to high-quality STEM education risk being excluded from the AI era too.
Education nonprofit Code.org has partnered with CSforALL to launch the Hour of AI, a global initiative providing learning activities for AI education. An evolution from the organization’s previous Hour of Code program, Hour of AI aims to ensure that all learners have the opportunity to understand, explore, and create with artificial intelligence.
Taking place during Computer Science Education Week (December 8–12, 2025), Hour of AI will offer self-guided activities that prompt learners to express their creativity with the help of AI through a mashup of music and synchronized dance. Participants will use coding and AI tools to design dancers, remix music, and choreograph dance routines to build AI literacy and prepare for the AI era.
CSforALL provides a guide taking teachers step by step through planning, hosting, and celebrating an Hour of AI event that sparks curiosity, builds understanding, and shows that anyone can learn about AI.
