The Music Tech Set-Up Guide from Save the Music equips music educators with the skills, knowledge, and resources to confidently integrate music production and technology into their classrooms. It covers the foundational concepts and theories behind recording music, teaches how to get started with software and hardware, and offers tips for setting up the classroom to make the best use of technology.
The guide is organized into 12 sections (see the Table of Contents) to help meet each educator where they are on their journey into music technology teaching and learning. Each section has a general breakdown, quick links, and “Straight to the Point” tips that simplify complex concepts into one-sentence summaries. Additional resources and set-up guides for specific stations are also provided.
